The next contestant to sashay to the dance floor is another dancing couple!!  Dr. Rick Snider and wife Lori will be dancing this year for the Dancing with the Vincennes Stars!!

Dr. Rick and Lori were both born and raised in Vincennes, met in high school, and are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary this year.

They left Vincennes for a few years while Rick was attending Logan College of Chiropractic in St Louis, Missouri and returned in 1987 to open what is now known as Back2Health Chiropractic. They have been blessed with 4 children: Erik, Sabra, Phillip, and Simon.

Since that very first year in practice, Rick and Lori have had a passion for giving back to the community. They have hosted numerous events through the years giving away chiropractic services in exchange for toys, food, coats, and even baby or pet supplies for local organizations. Dr. Snider and the Back2Health Team have raised significant funds for local organizations such as Isaiah 117 House, Salvation Army, Cops Cuffing Cancer, Vincennes Police and Knox County Sheriff’s Departments, Honor Flight of Southern Indiana, Generations, and many others.

Dr. Snider continues on his personal mission to “Inspire, enable, and encourage others to pursue better health physically, mentally, and spiritually.”  Seeking to set a good example, he has completed numerous marathons, short course triathlons, a five time Ironman finisher, and completed two 31- mile trail races. Lori has also completed several half marathons and is always encouraging others in how to eat healthier and especially how to deal with food allergies.

When they can get away from the office, Rick and Lori love to travel, especially getting off the beaten path. You may also find Rick in his woodshop while Lori is busy creating unique t-shirt designs in her craft studio.  Both are very active with their Monroe City Church of God family.

There was a brief period of time when Rick and Lori danced in a few country dance competitions, but that was 30 years ago. It has taken a few years for Dave Engstrom to talk them into dusting off their dance boots and getting back on the dance floor. “We may be rusty, but we are looking forward to having fun and will do our best to raise some money for a great cause.”

Thank you Dr Rick and Lori for making your way back to the dance floor and supporting the Wabash Valley Friendship Clubhouse!  It's going to be an amazing night!!
