Dancing with the Vincennes Stars 2024 is going to be the most exciting event of the year! We have 7 competitors this year!! And our next dancing star to be revealed is John AND Kasey Yochum!! That's right, a competing COUPLE!!
John and Kasey are both local natives to the area and reside in Vincennes with their two children, Blake and Brynlee. They were best known as the car dealership people until recently when they sold Yochum Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram after 62 years in the community and now they are on to new adventures!
John and Kasey also created and manage a non-profit you've likely heard of, Heaps of Jeeps!! This is an amazing program to support local first responders in their time of need. The two-day Heaps of Jeeps festival provides great family fun, incredible music and food, and oh yeah, a great jeep ride through Knox and Lawrence counties!
The community means a lot to them, and they show it by being involved volunteering for events for great causes even if “we can’t dance”! They are both involved with the Knox County Chamber of Commerce, John is a board member and Kasey is on the TRC Campaign and recently honored with the 5 Under 40 Award this year.
In their free time, you'll often catch them at some sporting event for their son or daughter and seems like no matter the season, each weekend they are going to games. And during the off seasons, you can find them traveling to beach with the family!
John and Kasey are both very excited and nervous to show their dance skills on Dancing with the Vincennes Stars! And ask that you don’t laugh too hard at their performance!!
